How It Works

Roadmaster Active Suspension consists of a set of two variable related
coil springs designed to assist rear leaf springs.
As the leaf springs on the rear
suspension begin to take strain, the stabilizers come into action. The
greater the strain the more the counter assistance force from the
Roadmaster, enabling vehicles to carry maximum loads stipulated by
manufacturers' specifications without bottoming out. Being coil springs the stabilizers
provide a smooth ride without sway.
On cornering the Roadmaster
reduces roll by supporting the spring that is taking the increased load.
Roadmaster is designed to
eliminate shock on the suspension itself, thus extending the life of
leaf springs, shock absorbers, shackles and tyres, offering improved
stability.
There
is no loosening or removal of any parts and no alteration of any
existing parts on any vehicle. The design specifically respects the
manufacturer's original assembly.

The eye bracket will allow access to any form of the
difficult eye shackles that may be encountered.
The axle anchor bracket is designed for any axle housing design through
special adjustments that are available in the anchor bracket, particularly
where the axles are fitted over the leaf spring or under the leaf
spring. All adjustments are simple and easy to adapt.

Same kit for all vehicles
All light to medium vehicles and
4x4 SUVs with leaf springs use
the same kit, with a choice of 3 tension
springs, each of which is
applicable to particular models and types of
vehicles, depending
on load capacity.
These tension springs are manufactured and guaranteed to be
suitable in
strength and ability to combine with the tension of
each grade of
tension coil spring from diameter 8mm to 12mm.
